How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Harbour Place Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Brought my dog Bubba for a bath. At that time they also assessed his ears and he had a yeast infection. Forever grateful to keep my Bubba healthy. And he was bathed well, nails trimmed. Bubba was so happy. Tha ks for the great care!

If there were a 0 star option, it would be more fitting for this office. RUN, DON'T WALK! This vet had her techs administer medication to my animals BEFORE she even looked at them it completed the test for this issue. The test results were reported to me 5 hours later, which was only a 15 minutes test that was supposed to be completed while in office, and the results came back negative. She claims it's a requirement from the CDC to give dewormer as a preventative and not a treatment, but if you call there CDC, it's not. They wouldn't even cut my dog's nails because they said the dog didn't like it. What animal does? I was quoted $120 for everything and walked out paying $368! RUN and keep your money from this scam artist!

I was referred here but the person did say that they had not been in a while. Well, it's Thanksgiving I had planned to go visit family and needed to board my dogs. Setup the appointment. The page/recording said they close at 12. So, I called to make sure and to ask other questions. I was told that at the last minute they decided to close at 11 or in a few minutes as she said. Because the doctor was going out of town and had some "late" appt come in (made no sense, late appt mean you stay late right?). So now at 11 am I'm scrambling to find a "reliable and honest" boarder for my dogs, so that I can spend time with my family. Go somewhere that will do great business because the doctor has nothing to do with accepting dogs for boarding.

I used to think its a very good place with nice vet and nurse. Now I changed my mind. Long Story short. If you want to over spend your money, go there. And if they prescribe Cheristin (a flea prevention for cats) and tell you it's really great. Think about it twice and go online to search some reviews. Plus, they sell it double the price Where you can buy the SAME product in petSmart half. And they tell you it's different product. Good luck in this Clinic. Pictures show that what Cheristin did to my cat! A patch of hair lost the next day! ! ! At the exact place where I drop the medicine! Don't waste your time and money there!
