I tried to get Murphy who was an existing patient into this Clinic. Murphy is my deceased fiance George's dachshund.. George always took Murphy into the vet @ Freeport animal Clinic (👎) since he was a puppy. Because of George's passing and the passing of my mother I had not had the opportunity to meet the vet nor take Murphy into the Vet for probably a year and a half because well because let it speak for itself my fiance and my mother in less than 2 years apart. And alas, I tried to make an appointment because Murphy flat lined on me and I had to give him mouth to snout four times to resuscitate him. Because he had not past a bowel and an enlarged abdomen/prostate. And when I called the vet, days prior to him flat lining. I phoned and tried to make an appointment when I noticed he wasn't feeling well and I was told that they don't take new patients. As I stated my deceased fiance took him in there since he was a puppy. At this time when I had called Murphy was probably 10 years old. But thank goodness for Best Friends Animal Clinic in Freeport Florida because they've helped me since and the photo that I have submitted was taken not but maybe 6 months ago and he is probably 13 Going on 14. Thank you Best Friends Animal Clinic.

This place is the best vet office in Walton County by far!! Compassionate, knowledgeable and extremely fair concerning prices, which unfortunately poor folks have to consider. Highly recommend taking your furry family members here for care!!

I had 6 AKC registered German Shepard puppies. Dr. Baxter had never seen me before as I had just moved to the area. And they were the nicest most professional vet I have had the pleasure to deal with in the area. I forget the techs name, but every-time I called with a question she helped me immediately. I never felt like I was being a bother. I never felt like they had better things to do than answer my question. I had crazy dog people (yes I said crazy, unfortunately I am one of them too) calling me asking all sorts of questions about my litter. I would refer them to the vet and they would help me. On top of that they are the least expensive. And the have a military discount!!! The Vet is amazing as well. She came in and explained everything to us about the puppies and what to expect with the problems we were having. 5 stars. This is my new vet!!! I am sold!!!! Thank you!!!

Dr. Baxter is a very patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable Vet. I'm happy that I will be taking my pets back to Freeport Pet Clinic as I have recently moved out here. I had originally gone there about 17 years ago when I first moved to the area, but then moved to an area that was a little too far to have Freeport as my regular vet. Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Baxter have been wonderful there!

They are affordable and great service. My yogi had kennel cough after his appointment and they immediately sent over a prescription to the pharmacy. Worth the hour drive!
