My oldest dog got into some trash and I took her to an emergency vet in the area. After spending over $3,000 with no progress and being left the option of slicing open my poor old dog or euthanasia, I decided to bring her to VCA (our primary vet) for one last opinion. Dr Wilkin examined her and sent us home with a plan to move forward. My sweet old girl is doing great now without an insanely invasive surgery and didn’t have to be put down. My family is so grateful for VCA Edgewater and will continue to use them for all our vet needs.

Vca is very compassionate, and they know their stuff. They are so good with our puppy George. They were amazing when I had to put down my dog of 10.5 years. Couldn't ask for better. Just brought George today to have his nails done. George is a tough dog he doesn't like to be restrained, the girls took him in the back and the girls all loved on him and the girl cut his nails and he was great for them. They have such a way with George. Thanks ladies!

Worst vet I have ever been to. I took my dog in due to digestive issues and they charged for a stool sample analysis which was never done. They didn’t get one while we were there, didn’t ask me to bring one but charged for it anyway. I called to complain on 3 occasions and no one in charge ever called me back. The receptionist kept telling me that it’s a complete package charge which might be okay if they actually did the work. I would never recommend this place. Also the initial “free” consultation ended up costing more than my usual vet in NSB. Unfortunately my vet was on vacation and I couldn’t wait so I gave VCA a try .

I could not get my dog into my current vet for several days, with a suspected UTI. Called VCA this morning, and they squeezed us in in the afternoon. Very kind tech doctor. Friendly staff. Will switch to them as my regular vet.
