We had such an incredible experience at FurlifeVets with our goldendoodle. From the moment we walked in, the entire team was warm, gentle, and incredibly attentive. You can immediately feel the calm, fear-free environment they’ve created for both pets and owners. Dr. Jesus and Dr. Abolafia were absolutely outstanding. They took so much time with our dog, spoke to him gently, and made sure he felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. You could tell they truly care about the animals they treat. They explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel rushed. It felt more like a thoughtful, personalized experience than a typical vet appointment. Our goldendoodle can be a bit nervous in new environments, but the way the doctors and staff handled him made a huge difference. They were patient, kind, and used a very fear-free approach that kept him relaxed and at ease. By the end of the visit, his tail was wagging and he seemed completely comfortable. It’s rare to find a veterinary clinic where the doctors are this gentle, thorough, and genuinely compassionate. We left feeling confident, reassured, and grateful that our dog is in such good hands. I took my anxious/fearful dog to FurlifeVets and overall had a really good experience. I believe Morgan was our tech during the visit, and she was amazing and so patient with my dog, Gia. She actually got Gia to eat treats from her, which is a huge win for us! I did have a not-so-great experience about a month later when calling about a heartworm medication refill but it got resolved. I recently called back regarding different prescriptions, and Yodaliz was an absolute delight to work with! She was so sweet, kind, and thorough throughout the conversation! Thank you to Dr. Abolafia as well for being so detailed, helpful, and willing to work with us to help our fearful dog feel more comfortable!

I took my pup here today for the first time and had such a welcoming experience! All the staff were amazing and made my dog so comfortable, he fell asleep while being examined… I couldn’t say one bad thing about this office. Very clean, very friendly and I didn’t feel rushed to get the appointment done. They took time to listen to all my concerns, and they took great care of my pup🐾❤️ This will be the only office I take my dog to. Highly recommend!

First visit to FurLife Vet was very interesting. They are a certified "fear free" office, which translates to a positive, comfortable and relatively stress free experience for both you and your pet. We have never been to a vets office where the exam rooms were quite so "homey". There was a sofa, an area rug, framed photos on the wall, and a basket of dog toys....and no sign of the dreaded metal exam table. We thought this was just the waiting room and expected to be ushered into a standard exam room with the Doctor, but nope, that WAS the exam room! Dr Jesus and Nurse Lexi came in and sat right on the floor with our pup for the exam! They were very sweet with our fur baby and genuinely love animals (and people). They patiently and politely answered all our questions, and didn't make us feel rushed. The next day we received a call from Precious asking how our pup was doing....wow. It's a 30 - 40 minute drive for us, but so glad we found them. Our fur baby was not stressed out at all. Based on the first visit, we expect future visits to be as pleasant as the first. So far...so good. Recommend you try them out.

FurlifeVets was recommended to me because my 5-year-old Tuxedo cat is more than a bit skittish; and I was simply blown away by the level of attention and care he received. The entire staff went out of their way to make both of us comfortable, and Dr. Smasal walked me through every step of the procedure in a way that made sense and put me at ease. The experience was such a game-changer that I immediately made a checkup appointment for my other little guy. Dr. Abolafia was equally fantastic with her approach to patient care and medicine. I wasn’t aware of what a ‘Fear Free’ clinic was beforehand, but I now know that all of our pets deserve nothing less. Highly recommend!
