How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Rawls Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

I called today to see if they would take walk ins, recently purchased a puppy with a skin infection and needed immediate care. My normal vet said they were to busy to address her issue. They brought me in within the hour, checked her over, started her vaccinations, medicine for allergies, took the time to answer questions, very informative staff! I found my forever vet for my fur babies! Thank you soo much!

Dr Henderson and her staff are the very best ! Caring, kind, willing to take the time to explain things clearly and to acknowledge concerns. Just overall a wonder place if your fur baby needs care. We attribute a big part of our pups good health and over 15 year happy life to Dr Henderson.

This is one of the best veterinary clinic in Daytona Beach area. Dr. Susan L Henderson -who is very professional, knowledgeable and KIND- provide high quality service for our 4 dogs for the last 5 years, included eye exams and eye treatment. The technicians are very polite, treat our dogs with care. Special thanks to Mrs. Kellie and Mrs. Misty.

Service was timely, and staff very friendly and helpful. The place is a bit dated but it's the first vet office I've gone to that doesn't smell of animals as soon as you walk in. Everything appeared clean. The vet went over the exam for my 15 year old cat and explained meds given and possible reactions. They even do a check in call the next day.
