Clearlake Animal Hospital has been nothing short of incredible, and I can’t thank them enough for the compassion and care they’ve shown my family and our dogs. When we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our dog down, their bedside manner was truly outstanding. They spoke to us gently, treated our boy with dignity, and made sure we never felt alone through any part of that moment. Their genuine kindness and the remorse they showed, especially knowing we’d lost another dog just a couple of months earlier to a what we think was a sudden heart attack, meant more than I can put into words. They’ve also been amazing with my Malinois, who has anxiety and can show some aggressive tendencies when overwhelmed. The way they handle her is perfect, patient, calm, and completely understanding of who she is and what she needs. Not every vet takes the time to understand dogs like her, but they do, and it makes all the difference. Their pricing has always been incredibly fair, too never inflated or pushy, and it’s clear they prioritize honest care. I’ve always felt like they’re looking out for what’s best for my dogs and my wallet, which is rare and deeply appreciated. Clearlake Animal Hospital is the kind of place that not only cares for pets medically, but cares for them emotionally, and for the humans who love them just as much. I’m truly grateful for them.

Our poody passed away. He was alittle aggressive when it came to strangers. But the Clearlake Animal Hospital was always great with him. We also received a beautiful card from the staff for our loss. We will definitely give them our business, when we get another poody.

I bought my dog of 9 years to this clinic and I truly regret it. Things started off ok at first. The vibes were shady and prices fluctuated between different Techs. They would send me appointment reminders in the mail and call when the appointment day was close. Then sometime goes by and I found a dog and bought him to this clinic and the dog was in horrible condition. They threatened me with the police and treated me like I was lying…. The crazy part is the dog had a registered owner in the system. Come time for my dog’s appointment this clinic called me more than a clinic should call to make sure I was coming in for my dogs vaccine. Which I thought was strange but I went anyway this was mid to late April. My dog got her vaccinations. Then I noticed she fell sick. By May 1st my dog was dead. Since then I haven’t gotten any appointment reminders, check ups, nothing. It’s almost like they knew she was gonna die.

I love this doctor and her staff very welcoming and quick appointments. She’s very knowledgeable and she’s always taken good care of my cats. One of my cats had a dental appointment for a cleaning. Cleaning was superb and 4 teeth pulled, and it was a a quarter of the price of another local vet clinic. I would highly recommend them!!

Every single appointment you arrive and we are taken right into the room. Dr. McCormick is extremely knowledgeable, but is also nice and caring during the care of Nibbles. The doctor has been in the area for a long time, this is her community and her own practice. No major corporation to keep up with. I was not able to make in time to pick up medication before they closed and they went out of their way to have my medication in a safe place for pick up. It’s affordable, all the staff are caring and patient. We live not far away in a new community and would highly suggest this practice to anyone. Nibbles felt well enough to eat dinner with us.
