How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Doc Savvy's Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Savedoff truly cares about pets. She has seen my elderly dog twice and both times has treated her with very positive results. She is a very experienced veterinarian. The staff is wonderful too! Jennifer at the desk and Danielle in the back! Wonderful people.

Nice and caring doc and staff. They helped us out while we were in town with our elderly pups when they got an eye infection. We will definitely use them again when we are in the area and wish they were local to our main home.

This was my first visit with my little Chihuahua Lulu to get her rabbits vaccine and a check up. The office set up is cheery as was the staff. They made sure Lulu was comfortable and felt safe prior to giving her the shots and exam. I am very impressed and will be making Dr. Stacy my vet for anything else that my fur baby will need. Jennifer was very good at explaining everything to me. Thank you all veryuch and Lulu thanks you too! 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went here because my dog was having some neurological symptoms; I suspected after researching and going to 2 separate veterinarians with no diagnosis that it may be Toxoplasmosis; I asked the doctor for an antibiotic to treat and she belittled me and told me “she was the doctor” and wanted to do a large amount of extra tests that had already been done on my pup at the previous veterinarians (I provided her records, she also wanted to administer steroids which would MAKE HER WORSE if it were what I suspected;; it WAS). Veterinarian was rude and I took my business to Okeechobee Animal Hospital; they provided my Foxxy with antibiotics and as I suspected, she was infected with Toxoplasma (Dr. Savvy told me she was a veterinarian for 20 years and she never saw this, so it COULDNT be what my pup was suffering from). My girl is back to her old self no thanks to this woman, but she sure took my money though ! Stay away, just drive to a better veterinary office with a kind and not so rude and entitled doctor.
