How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Jackson Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Caring, patient, and understanding staff and doctors. Willing to take the time to converse with you and explain diagnoses and different care plans, allowing you to make the most informed decisions. We have been going to them for 4 years and have been seen by all Vets there and pleased with all of their interactions. The front desk staff is very pleasant, caring, and attentive to your needs and show sincere interest in your pets. Thank you for all your help!

We are on vacation and our bulldog has a panic attack. We called here and they gave us good information and informed us to call his doctor at home and get his medication sent to a cvs here. They were super helpful and took time to help us during this time. I am very thankful they helped us.

I along with all my children and their pets have been going to this veterinary for years two days ago my experience changed my opinion of loving going in with our loved furry kids. The Dr. We always see was on vacation and it was suggested to allow the traveling Dr. Attend to our dog. I agreed since this wasn't any thing complicated. A watering eye.... This Dr. Never said hello nor communicated anything she was doing. Never asked me anything......afterwards I was given a bill for services I wouldn't have needed. I'm not allowed to speak to our Dr. And then was bullied and threatened by an office manager. This is not the way to treat a committed client.

I’ve been to this place twice. Both times we have been greeted and felt welcomed both me and my dog Anna. You can tell the staff loves what they do. I will continue taking my dog here while I live in Saint Augustine. They are very professional and try to accommodate you for an appointment. I highly recommend them.
