When my best friend passed on 9/11/21 unexpectedly, Lakes Veterinary sent the most beautiful personalized card, I will never forget the thoughtfulness that goes into that. Thank you Doc for understanding my situation with my elder dog, they are a group of the best at Lakes, take the time to care and listen genuinely, goes a long way for me to know that, not only the thoughtfulness but they know what they are doing, the Doc is a grade A surgeon! My elder dog had a growth that they removed and was a completely successful surgery. Glad to have them here in Branford CT.

We came to lakes a year ago too send our baby over the rainbow bridge and they were amazing compassionate and totally caring. I would recommend them for all your pets needs even their send off. They are all amazing people who truly care about your pets.

Dr. Malek is THE BEST! I highly recommend this practice. My dog had lost most of her fur due to allergies and Dr. Malek made great suggestions for changing her food. Her hair has almost fully grown back within the last 6 months and she looks healthier than ever!!! Very kind staff as well. We are so happy we made the change to this Vet.

I can’t speak more highly about Dr. Malek and his staff. Everyone in the office is super nice and helpful. They got my cat in for an appointment so fast and we’re great with her! The cost was totally reasonable and the Dr himself has been the one keeping in touch with us. Definitely going to stick with lakes!
