How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Westridge Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

After switching to WestRidge from a previous vet, I am confident I made the right choice due to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Any time my pup has an issue or goes to the emergency vet, they are checking in days after to ensure she is healthy and taken care of. Their environment is super home-y and welcoming, and I trust them with taking care of both my dogs. Thank you for all you do!

Have been going here for a while and both vets are incredibly condescending. I do not recommend this place.

I love Dr. Vangi and her staff. They treat my sick pitbull pup Bjørn with such kindness and understanding. Dr. Vangi is very knowledgeable. I give Dr. Vangi and her staff 5 stars and will recommend them to anyone looking for a great veterinarian!

Never felt great here. Didn’t seem to have a lot of bed side manner with my dog. My dog was scared to go here and they kept pushing tons of pharmaceuticals to give her before we came back. Tons of trazadone and other drugs. Now my dog doesn’t need it. Interesting. Additionally they appeared to overcharge and push for things we didn’t really need. Felt was being upsold too often.

Dr Vangi is amazing. We've been to three different vets who told us to amputate our dog's ear as there was no other cure. Dr Vangi diagnosed him with hematomas and an infection. Instead of a very expensive surgery we expect our boy to be healthy and whole within 6 to 8 weeks. Very knowledgeable and kind. Cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you!
