I highly recommend this place. If you have an EMERGENCY with your pet's injury call them first. My dog came limping back in the house on three legs. I called all around and the only place I could see her that day was helping paws animal hospital. She ended up tearing her ACL on her rear leg. I was able to schedule a surgery within a couple weeks and they did a fantastic job at a fantastic rate. Everybody here is so nice and understanding, excellent customer service, And if you need a place to take your dog that needs surgery or teeth cleaned this is the place you want to call first. Pricing is very reasonable. The work done is excellent. My dog is back to walking now and crisis averted thanks to helping paws animal hospital. Thank you very much for all the help and definitely have a lifetime customer.

Helping Paws Animal Hospital is amazing; I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We took our fur baby Pomeranians because one of them was experiencing illness and pain. We drove from Thornton to Wheat Ridge because of the positive reviews and the staff did not disappoint. The staff was amazing, very thorough, genuine, knowledgeable, and attentive. They made sure to go above and beyond through the whole process. Not only was everyone very kind, but they also provided details on medication, cleaning my baby’s ears, explained his allergies, gave food alternatives, and explained his neck nerve pinch. The office was very clean and offered water as well as coffee for visitors. We will be returning; this will now be our primary vet. Thank you so much Dr. Kappel!

I just had my BMD’s teeth cleaned here this morning and had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and I feel like they genuinely cared about my dog! The office is really nice and clean. I will be back and will recommend them to all of my friends. I’m so glad this place exists!

Dr. Kappel performed a single chain mastectomy and tooth extration on my cat at the same time. This was literally the ONLY clinic out of 30 I contacted that gave me an upfront, no mystery expenses estimate for a fraction of what I was getting priced for at other clinics. This saved us so much time, money, and stress. My cat healed really well. The vet tech, Savannah, was so sweet and responsive to my (extensive) questions via email. Everyone there was so patient with great bedside manner. I really can't reccomend this place highly enough.

We had an amazing experience. Our dog needed his second ccl surgery (TPLO). Our previous specialist left Our vet so we went looking for a new one. Found them through humane colorado. Not only did they get us in quickly, but everybody we met was so nice. They all cared about my big dog and his well being. Pricing was up front amd reasonable. Especially with such a big important surgery. We are 3 days after his leg surgery and he is doing amazing! His leg is no where near as swollen, the incision is way smaller than the other leg. Definitely recommend and we will be back as well
