How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Adams County Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Everyone at Adams County was beyond kind, caring and professional! They helped us greatly with repeated health issues with our pup, Willie, and of course the normal wellness visits and shots. Listened to our concerns, didn’t push things we didn’t want, prices are phenomenal, never had an issue with availability to get him in when needed. We loved them so much we drove there from 45 minutes away! Unfortunately we just moved to Florida, but if we ever move back to the area we will most definitely be back.

It was our 1st time to go to the vet for our new puppy Spirit and they were GREAT! The vet was so good with her and very informative about what we needed to do and keep up with her health. I would definitely tell our family and friends to come to Adam's County Animal Hospital. Kudos to all the staff and vet. 👏👏👏🐺💜🌺

Everything has been great so far. Dr. Fujinami is the kindest most reliable vet. Our babies have been seeing him for years and years. That in itself is rare! Thankful to the staff and to him for all they do!

I was late to my appointment and they still were able to examine my dog. Unfortunately I didn’t love how they charged me an “ examine fee “ of $75 just to hear her heart. To me that was a little much. I don’t know if that’s all vets but just to hear her heart you charged me that much ..
