How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Vetco
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We have been taking our aging dog to this Vetco for about 2 years, and specifically seeing Dr Chang. She's the best veterinary doctor we've met in a long time. She takes all the time necessary for us to understand our dog's care, and her love for her profession and for her patients shows. The staff here has always shown the same level of caring.

Called this place to ask about how much their general examination fees were and the lady told me that they only do general examinations at their vetco clinic. She said to make an appointment online and that the exam would be free (I didn’t mention anything about vaccines btw, just a regular checkup). I thought it was a little weird that it was no cost, but after asking multiple questions to ensure what I was hearing was correct— I made an appointment. I show up on a Sunday, the vet itself is closed, but the vaccine clinic is open. I walk over and ask them about the examination and they told me they don’t do them at the clinic, only at the vet …. A WASTE OF TIME. She gave me incorrect info and I drove all the way over here for zero reason, this is basic information that the front desk should know when people ask simple questions about regular checkups??

They took the time to go over her history and I really appreciated that. They were very nice and explaining everything to me too. Nice people and everything was clean and such. I will definitely be coming back here.

Charge you thousands of dollars extra. Other locals vets charge way less. If you come here and it feels pricey, it is. Go to other vets.
