Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing

We brought our lab in after an allergic reaction. The staff was friendly and very professional. Dr. Krantz was very caring and thoroughly educated and reassured us. They took extra precaution by doing an ultrasound without any charge. We received exceptional service all around.

Our Doberman, Goose started vomiting and was refusing food yesterday. Four months ago, she had surgery for a foreign body obstruction, so when she started showing these symptoms, we were worried that she was again obstructed. We headed over to North Pen and the doctors and staff were so great. They got her in right away and took great care of her. There was a radiologist there at the time, so we opted for ultrasound over x-rays. Between that and the bloodwork, everything was done quickly and efficiently. She was not obstructed, Thank Dog! She had enteritis and they were able to give her anti-nausea medications and Sub-Q fluids to help support her while she is on the mend. We were sent home with thorough instructions and everything we need to continue her care at home. The communication was excellent and we left knowing that she had gotten the best treatment possible. I highly recommend North Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic. This was not our first time here, by the way but it is always our first choice for emergency treatment with all of the pets in our care.

My little puppy had surgery this last Thursday 4/20. He seem fine that day, Friday and most of Saturday. He woke me up at around 2 am with very heavy breathing and winning a lot, of course I got worried. Called NPEM and the vet that answered the phone was horrible, I was trying to explain to her what was going on with my dog and she was rude and short with me. She ended un telling me that it was my choice to bring him in and it would be $200 just to be seen. She was not compassionate, seem to me she was more worried about the money than helping my dog. I wasn't worried about the $$ I was worried about my dog. I've had never before had bad experiences at this clinic before, I've always take my fur babies there. Went to SAGE instead, big difference.

If you love your pet, don't go to North Peninsula Veterinary! I took my dog because he had a cough. So he was medicated with medicine to avoid vomiting….and I paid dearly for this. Obviously it didn't solve it because my dog had a cough, so I took it to another veterinarian and he was quickly diagnosed, advised a simple medication and he improved almost immediately. North Peninsula Wrong diagnosis and treatment, long waiting time and high price.

NEVER EVER EVER in a case of an EMERGENCY COME HERE!!!! Horrible service! Horrible front desk and terrible Nurses! one of the worst by far! Money worried ONLY will not provide any info yet want $ first thing!. Aside from the Doc. that somewhat with hesitation answered our questions. I hope not one person ever steps foot here... From the moment we got there to the LAST GOODBYE to my beautiful companion Loki. WORST decision to have stepped foot here. From rushing us to put my dog down to having to put up with horrible customer service and ugly attitude. WORST EXPERIENCE BY FAR. Double think coming to this place. No empathy. HORRIBLE customer service. Nasty attitude
