Dr. True and all of the staff are the best. I really appreciate the care and kindness shown to me and my pugs. Dr. True always takes time with my pups to throughly exam, asks lots of questions and truly cares about their health. We love Sacramento Animal Hospital and staff!

I recognize that the pandemic threw us all for a loop, and dealt small businesses a curve ball. But you all forged through, pivoted to accomodate changes and protocols. I always feel as though you accept that some of us dog parents can be a little overprotective, but you never belittle us for bringing in the tiniest of concerns.

After 30+ years with my previous vet, we made the decision to look elsewhere. Sacramento Animal Hospital came highly recommended. Our initial appointment was scheduled with a different Dr. We ended up seeing Dr. Hume-Smith. She is the Best! My girl loved her! She readily answered all of my questions and not once did she make me feel rushed. She truly cares about your fur baby/pet/companion and you. They all made my girl and I feel at home. Staff was friendly and professional. No regrets here.

Sacramento Animal Hospital is full of the most amazing people that really care for our cat, Molly. We’ve been coming every six weeks for over a year now to keep an eye on Molly’s liver enzymes and each time the doctor calls us to explain the results and discuss a course of action. She always fully answers our questions and really cares about Molly’s quality of life. The techs and doctors handle Molly as if she was their own, which makes handing her over a little less difficult. 10/10 recommend making this your regular vet.

Dr. Hume-Smith is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate vets I have ever been too. She has gone above and beyond to care for all of my dogs. I refer family and friends every chance I get. The care and attention she gives to each animal is well worth the price. I have had some questionable vet care in the past that left me broken hearted. I trust Dr. Hume-Smith with all of my fuzzy babies. The staff are amazing too and take time to go over prescriptions and any questions you might have. I will continue to take my fuzzy family members to the Sacramento Animal Hospital.
