How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Community Spay Neuter Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I had an incredible experience at the Spay and Neuter Clinic! The staff there, especially Stephanie, are amazing and compassionate. After a terrible experience next door, I was feeling lost and overwhelmed. Stephanie came out to talk to me, assuring me everything would be okay. The entire team at the clinic exudes compassion and love for our furry babies. We need more people like Stephanie and the Spay and Neuter Clinic staff. Thank you for everything you do!

They were very polite and efficient. I was happy to see that my 5 month old kitten had a very small incision for her spay. It is also convenient that the sutures desolve on their own and no return visit is needed. The cost is half of what other clinics cost. The aftercare instructions were very good. I had bought a small E-colar in preparation for her return. As soon as she gulped down some canned food she started licking her incision and pulling at the stitches. I laced a string of material through the E-colar, tied it securely around her neck and fastened the colar loose enough so she can eat and drink. She is doing great and I appreciate the service CSNC provides.

Shout out to the amazing staff and the great work this non-profit is doing to reduce animal suffering and support the community. They’re efficient and so kind and friendly. Even though they will spay/neuter trapped feral cats for free, please consider reimbursing their costs to spay it forward and help them help even more. Thank you CSNC! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
