Ojala Family Pet Care

One of my hoard of four legged babies was feeling sickly, and I saw we had a new neighborhood vet practice opening up, so I thought I would try them out and maybe find a new vet for the menagerie. I’m so glad I did! Everyone was so incredibly kind and understanding with Rio, my spicy little egg roll on legs, and earned both out of trust during his appointment. Dr. Ojala provided top notch care, at an affordable price. I was so incredibly impressed but he straight answers and lack of up sell. Dr. Ojala clearly cares for his patients and doing right by them. I’ve already scheduled a follow up for my chronic kitty, to help make her end of life care more pleasant. I am so thankful to have Dr. Ojala and his team in our community! As for the amenities, the office is stocked with snacks/treats for humans and four legged friends, there are places both inside and on the deck to sit while you wait. The parking is a bit confusing, but did not hinder my ability to make my appointment. I am concerned that make become an issue in the future once people find Dr. Ojala, but that’s a problem worth having. Update: I’ve been taking my pets to Ojala consistently since they opened and in December, I had to make the devastating decision to help my oldest girl cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. O and every single person at the clinic made it such a dignified end to my 14 year old kitty. It’s taken me time to feel able to even write this, but the love from Tuli, Alexis, Jen, Katie, and every single person at Ojala Family Pet Care made this loss feel less lonely.

I took my dog in for a dental cleaning and exam, knowing he would likely need extractions. From start to finish, the care was exceptional. Dr. Ojala and his entire team were professional and compassionate. They kept me informed, made me feel at ease, and did an excellent job with his dental care. I’m beyond grateful for the level of attention and kindness they showed. I will definitely be bringing all of my pets here from now on and highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I live nearby and decided to try this vet since they’re a new local, family-run business—and I’m so glad I did. My German Shepherd is fearful and in behavior modification training, with very specific handling protocols that most vets haven’t respected in the past, often making her fear worse. Dr. Ojala, however, listened to my concerns and respected every detail. He allowed me to handle her according to her training protocol during the exam and even performed it outside in the fresh air to ease her nerves. That level of patience and understanding made such a difference and showed how much they truly care for and respect both pets and their owners. Highly recommend!

The team at Ojala Family Pet Care are absolutely amazing. I had to take my rat terrier in for an emergency and was met with excellent service. Dr. Ojala listened to all of my concerns and after some x rays and bloodwork, she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The technicians there were very gentle and kind to my puppy for her treatments. The place was very busy, but their staff was on top of everything and I was very impressed with their speed and thorough work. I will be taking my dog here from now on. They saved her life. Excellent experience here! I found a lump under my dogs chin on Friday and they were able to see her with in an hour to get it checked out. Dr. Ojala was awesome and knew what it was right away and saved me money on a bunch of different tests. It ended up being a swollen lymph node from her teeth being infected. They got me in on Monday for a full dental and they were awesome and took really great care of my girl. She is all healed up now and the lymph node is back to normal, and she is feeling great! Definitely bringing all my animals here from now on. Thank you for the great service.
