How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Northridge Veterinary Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Super nice employees. Small office with a dull cold feeling but the people there are amazing. We have a Ferret, so it's difficult to find competent doctors. Even with all the weather issues right now, we were able to get an appointment. Very quick and efficient. Great prices. Gave us medicine for our ferret and made a follow up appointment on the spot. I will follow up my review after treatment is complete

This was our third visit. This time for annual check-ups and rabies shot. Also, a follow-up from a fox tail infection. Please be careful out there this time of year. That visit cost $200. This visit was quick and easy for me. The pup had four shots. It's not fun for her, but hopefully staying healthy. So far, our visits have been seamless. Just have to pay the price to keep your loved ones healthy. I recommend giving them a shot.

Posted hours clearly state they open @ 7am. We sat in the parking lot until 7:15a.m, still no one, dooors locked. How is one to get medical care for their fur baby being that the facility does not even adhere to their own hours of operation. Had to find another local place to have my dog triaged after sustaining a coyote bite. Those whom have been here were fortunate to have been serviced, but I will not return.

If you bring your dog to get vaccinated here, DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOUR DOG MORE THAN 2 VACCINES AT A TIME. This is common knowledge at most vets, but these people overvaccinated our dog without warning, triggering an immune-disease that killed her. We lost our angel because of the incompetence at this death house. They're lucky they haven't been sued and shut down yet, because I've spoken with multiple dog owners who've had their dogs overvaccinated here. The incompetence is dangerous, and in our case fatal. Our loss is on your hands.

It can be tough finding a good vet for exotics but we've had a great experience bringing in our pet rattos in the office whenever they are sick.
