We are very happy with Modern Animal veterinary care! We found Modern Animal in Manhattan Beach when one of my cats got sick and our usual vet (Bay Animal) didn’t have any appointments for several days. So I called around and found Modern Animal had a same-day appointment! Throughout this last week we’ve seen Dr. Dunn and Dr. Friedman, both are very kind and knowledgeable. We really appreciated the care, communication and expertise from these veterinarians as well as the excellent customer service from the front desk to all the nurses. We had to take our cat into the office 4-times this week to get testing, fluids, injections and X-rays but my fur-baby is finally on the mend and eating & drinking again thanks to all the wonderful help at MB Modern Animal. We are so very appreciative!

Finding Modern Animal has been a total game changer when it comes to going to the vet. Being able to make appointments online and having access to all your appointments, notes, immunizations, notes, etc on the app is incredible. The entire staff is kind and warm which makes the entire experience amazing.

Modern Animal has THE most extraordinary teams, service and hospitality. Going there is like being home and when you’re worried about your pet there couldn't be a better feeling. I adore you guys. And today, at the Manhattan Beach location the receptionist who plays reggae, Roxanna and Dr Steenis truly rocked my world and made my mind calm and my heart flutter. They are truly amazing at what they do and their approach to body language and behavior was phenomenal. 20 starts for you guys!! 💗💗💗

We have been taking our 2 cats to Dr. Friedman (highly recommend!) at Modern Animal for about a year now. First and foremost, we couldn’t be happier with the level of care. We always feel our fur babies are in the best hands. Everyone is so experienced, kind and helpful. They operate so efficiently with little to no wait times for scheduled appointments. Their app is amazing and so easy to use. Also love the ability to chat virtually with a care team member. Great response times! We’re thrilled to have found Modern Animal!

We’ve had some horrible experiences at previous vets and they changed the way we view the vet experience. We brought our older dog in for a routine check up/ rabies shot, the experience from front desk to tech to Dr was amazing. We then brought in our younger dog with some raw/ cracked paws. They were calm and so patient with our dogs and had honest recommendations and plans of care for both. Jennifer has been our tech each time and we’ve loved her. Thank you for changing our vet experiences and hope you expand nationally. Great services, great employees, great company.
