My fur babies need to be spayed. I was extremely apprehensive and unsure about what needed to be done. I had gotten different information from a few other places with exhuberate prices that wasn't any way possible for us to afford. I called La Mirada Animal Health and they were friendly. Knowledgeable, and extremely gentle. My kitties are doing wonderfully and totally back to themselves. Thank you so much. Milkshake and Lulu are healthy and happy thanks to you. I'd recommend them.

I cannot say enough about this clinic, I have been going to this business for 17 years. I have never been to any other vet that made me feel so comfortable with treating our fur babies. Dr. Johnny and the staff are nothing short of amazing and in this business for the love of animals. I will never go anywhere else. Don’t let any negative reviews scare you from going here, judge for yourself, you won’t be sorry.

Very unprofessional staff. The receptionist, Andrea was extremely rude on the phone and hung up on me without notice. When I called back, another staff member made excuses for her and said she apologized to her for hanging up on me: however, I never received an apology. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment and when I showed up no one was at the location (granted I showed up a few minutes early) I called and the voicemail stated they where ONLY taking walk-ins due to COVID-19, so I left just to receive a call 6 hours later from this disrespectful staff member. I asked to speak with the doctor but have yet to hear anything back. Moral of the story if the staff treats people this way, imagine how they would treat your animal that can't speak up when mistreated.

Dr Johnny is a great doctor and we've been taking all our animals there for years now, and so do my neighbors and I've never heard anything negative about them and I had mixed feelings about changing my review to add the one problem I have with this vet. First off, I work in animal rescue and many people ask me where to find a good vet and I send them here for shots, spay, neuter surgeries. I have recommended this vet to countless friends and neighbors. I have but one complaint and that's the girls never ever open on time, which wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't have a patient inside anxiously waiting for me to pick her up. I didn't like having to leave your pet there overnight for spay/neuter procedures, but he does them at night. I do rescue so I've had many animals spayed/neutered there and each time they were at least 10-20 minutes late showing up to open the office so I could pick them up. I'm sorry, I really do like and trust Dr. Johnny with my animals, but his staff leaves much to be desired.
