How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Roadrunner Animal Hospital & Grooming

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Tessa and Dr. Baez were amazing! They were both so communicative and friendly to me and my new kitty. Tessa did an amazing job explaining every step to me and making sure I knew what to expect for that visit AND the next! They Both took such good care of my small kitten, and showed her so much love. I will forever be coming back to them!

I love this office! Everyone is always helpful and friendly. They always listen to my concerns and follow up diligently. They’re super patient and understanding with my dog, who’s not very social and gets extremely anxious at the vet. But they never make him or me feel bad about his reactivity. They’re patient and understanding. Would highly recommend to others and have!

Very knowledgeable and understanding when it comes to questions about my dog’s health and keeping her active. Just the recommendations we’ve followed have helped improve her health over the past year and any concerns are always addressed. Also absolutely fantastic with my older dog. Always answering my questions about her age, joints, and any concern. Love that they care for my pets just as much as i do and just want to help me keep them healthy for a long time.

I have nothing positive to say about this place, a friend referred me here because she said they offer payment plans with little to nothing down..they wanted 500$ for 3 xrays and $80 for the office visit and they offered payment plans with a 250$ down payment, I couldn't afford it, I told them I got paid the next day, they didnt care. They said my pet probably has a tumor and it's past the point of being able to help but they couldn't do anything without xrays and they offered me some pain medicine for 60$. They just all sat around, like 7 of them chitchatting as I left in tears I just don't understand how people can prioritize money over animals lives. What happened along their journey where they don't even care unless you have a pocket full of money for their overpriced procedures.I also found it odd that they had no customers there and noone came in the whole time i was there.I don't think this is the same place it used to be, I think it has been bought out by a greedy corporate vet company because the name is different but they keep the original Roadrunner name too because of its good reputation.I could be wrong, but I did find a veterinary clinic the same day who's services were half the price and their staff was attentive and caring, so to summarize I would not recommend this overpriced clinic to anyone at any time for any reason.
