I’ve had dogs my entire life, and going to the vet was always an ordeal — dragging them through the front doors, watching them nervously hide in corners, and eyeing every possible escape route. Midtown Animal Clinic completely changed that experience. My dog actually loves going to the vet now! She walks through the front door excited and happy to see everyone. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Dr. Mackenzie is absolutely incredible — I’ve never seen a vet get down on the floor and meet an animal where they’re at. He takes the time to connect, pet, and comfort them, and somehow manages to give shots without them even noticing. On our last visit, my dog left with a whipped cream cup and a wagging tail. It’s one of those rare places where you feel uplifted, supported, and loved from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I’ll never take her anywhere else. Midtown Animal Clinic is a place you can truly trust — they don’t price gouge or take advantage in vulnerable moments, and they leave all judgment at the door. This place feels more like family than a veterinary office.

I am so thankful to feel welcome despite my nervous dog needing to wear a muzzle for appointments. Dr. Holly & Dr. Croft are so sweet to my spicy boy! I never feel rushed or silly for my concerns. They always answer any questions & take their time getting Scout taken care of. They also make my options very clear so I never feel like I'm paying for more than I need. They advocate for Scout's health as much as I do.

We had our first appointment with Dr Mackenzie for our new pup Willie. It went very well; Doc is super to work with and always very reliable. We had Bird as our tech and she is super good with our boys and she is a great person. Thank you so much for taking excellent care of our guys.

This is my favorite vet I’ve ever taken my dog to! My dog is very shy but they were so accommodating and sweet to him, Dr. Mc Kenzie really took the time for my dog to get comfortable with him, it was so sweet and they go above and beyond not only to provide great veterinary care but also an environment my dog won’t be scared of. They also offer free visits without veterinary care, called a Victory Visit, for socialization for shy dogs. I will definitely be doing that with my pup. I’m so appreciative of the staff at Midtown, could not recommend them more!

Long time patients at Midtown. We recently had our 7 yr old Chihuahua’s necessary dental. Cheddar was so well cared for by everyone from the front office staff, vet techs and Dr. MacKenzie. We had complete explanations of billing costs and before and aftercare. Cheddar came home with 5 fewer troublesome teeth, beautifully plaque free and with shorter nails. Thanks to everyone who cared for our fur baby during his surgery. Midtown is the Best!
