How to Save on Veterinary Costs at All Dogs Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Getting to Know Your Veterinarian

Experience

Ask whether the clinic has experience treating your specific type of pet, since care can vary between dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

Emergency Care Procedures

It’s helpful to understand how the clinic handles after-hours emergencies, including whether they provide emergency services or refer to nearby emergency hospitals.

Communication Preferences

Ask how the clinic communicates with pet parents, including updates, test results, and follow up questions.

Breed Specific Health Considerations

Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

Great staff. Clean facility. Visits are usually pretty quick and easy. My dogs don't love going to the vet, but they don't ever fight me on going inside (like they do with going to the groomers :/ ). Always a pleasant visit. Love this vet. My dogs always get extra pets. They love my Winry girl and Slurpee boy ❤️

Dr. Eric is the BEST. He genuinely cares about all the dogs who come in & spends time explaining. Great bedside manner. He cleaned our dogs’ teeth for 1/3rd of the cost quoted by my (former vet). He said he doesn’t make money off of doing cleanings so more people will get their dogs’ teeth cleaned. That about says what kind of Dr. he is. He diagnosed our dog with Lymphoma just by a physical exam; came to the house to euthanize another dog. I won’t go anywhere else.

Best vet I have ever been to. Came in on his day off to look at xrays and talk to me. Treated my dog very very well on every visit.

Love the service from Doctor Steinlage and staff at the Rogers facility on DixieLand. They have taken care of my two long haired dachshunds since we moved here a few years ago. The personal attention makes it seem like they have been treating Si and Stewi since their birth. I highly recommend All Dogs Clinic!
