How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Allen Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Allen and staff are wonderful, he has been our vet for 30 years, it saddens me to see him retire. Wish this beautiful couple a Blessed retirement and a Hugh Thanks for all our fur babies he cared for. God Bless

Reliable veterinary service but I don't believe they are taking new clients. They've been around for at least 20 years and have had lifelong relationships with customers. Dr. Allen is a nice fellow and seems to know what he's doing; we'll keep taking our animals there as long as they're serving the community.

I've known Dr. Allen and his wife for almost 20 years, and he's been my vet for that entire time. He's the best vet around and my furbabies are always at ease with him. Very compassionate and makes a donation and sends a sympathy card when one has to go wait at the Rainbow Bridge.

Dr. Allen recently spayed our 4 month old yellow lab, Sarah, that we got for our two boys. A few days later, she had a reaction to the sutures. Dr. Allen met us at his office and worked until midnight on her, even taking her back into surgery. We found out while in the waiting room that he was taking off for two weeks. Not only did he schedule to meet us at his office every few days of his vacation, he also made sure that we have every possible contact number in case we need him. He is a great Dr. and a great person. We love Dr. Allen.
