How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Eastside Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

They take the best care of pets as far as I can see. I know there are many great vets in the area but we like the bed side manner of Dr Gall the best. Our Lucy was afraid for a while because She doesn't like shots. She has learned that the Dr is just trying to help and trusts Him more each time we visit.

Took my puppy in for his first shots. The place was clean and the two ladies in front were very sweet. We only wanted the rabies, but we're told he needed the parvo as well. The vet didn't seem to be that friendly. When we got home, he started yelping and had rapid breathing and heartbeat. I called them and their phone went to some strange voicemail. I drove down there and told them what was happening. The vet said he didn't know what it could be and told me to give him a baby aspirin. He said they were closed the next day but he would call and check on him. He never did, and it was so bad that night, we thought our dog was going to die. I told my pharmacist about it and she said it sounded like a mild aphylactic. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone. He almost killed my dog and didn't bat an eye.
