When I called about cremation services for my dog Candy, Shannon was exceptional. She arranged a same day appointment and reassured me that Candy would receive a respectful and proper farewell. Candy’s passing was sudden. She was my first dog and my companion for nearly 16 years. Shannon allowed me and Candy’s brother Teddy time to stay with her, which made an overwhelming situation more bearable. She clearly explained all available options and pricing, which were very affordable for the level of care provided. When I returned to pick up Candy’s remains, everything was handled with dignity and attention to detail. She was placed in a beautiful engraved urn, and I also received a clay paw print and a digital keepsake of her actual paw print. Petrichor goes above and beyond, treating both pets and their families with empathy, respect, and genuine care.

I reached out to Petrichor Aquamation out of a personal interest in the green burial movement, and while I wouldn’t wish the loss of a beloved family member on anyone, I could not recommend my experience with Petrichor more. They were responsive and compassionate when I initially reached out to schedule my drop-off. When the appointment took longer than I anticipated, they were incredibly accommodating in letting me come a little later that awful day. When we arrived, they were so empathetic, caring, and compassionate. I really appreciated the time p ppl they took to explain the process, to give us a tour of the facility, and to let us take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. I opted to receive her remains at home, and they were sent to me in a very secure care package. I know Mavis was cared for deeply in the last stage of her journey, and I am so appreciative of Petrichor Aquamation for the care and compassion they showed me.
