Pets Best is the best decision
Pets Best is the best decision we made for our pets. The coverage is outstanding and the customer service agents go above and beyond every time. The process for claims is easy to understand and follow. Also, when our pet passed you automatically closed his account after the euthanasia claim was submitted it was a relief not to have to think about it. Finally we really appreciated the sympathy card sent. I'll say it again. You are the best!!

Accident prone bulldog
Nationwide has been great with every claim. Moxie seems to be a very accident prone dog- either that or she is trying to pad our veterinarian’s retirement fund. Claims are paid in a timely manner and have covered almost every trouble she seems to find herself in.

Kind, supportive and speedy claims
We are experienced pet parents, and experienced with medical procedures and insurance. Everything comes together in the best of the best with Healthypaws. We did not use much insurance for years since my dog was hale and hearty. Last spring she contracted cancer and we faced difficult decisions about how to balance quality of life, health care costs and love. Healthypaws was kind to us when I contacted them about her condition, helped us locate treatment options, and always processes the claims quickly. We have had an extra year of good life together we could not have afforded otherwise. I will never have a pet without Healthypaws as part of our family!

Impossible service
I've had a policy with Healthy Paws for five years, paid about $3,500 in premiums, and had one small claim. Because of a banking SNAFU and an unannounced Healthy Paws premium increase, Healthy Paws was unable to electronically collect the monthly premium on my policy. Healthy Paws immediately notified me of cancellation of my policy - no warning, no outreach, no grace period. I corrected the banking SNAFU and tried to contact Healthy Paws ten times, some by phone and some by email, but without connecting, for over a week. No replies to email, and the outgoing phone message said they weren't answering phone calls because of a "weather event." They had the wherewithal to immediately cancel my policy, notwithstanding the "weather event," but not to respond to my inquiries about policy reinstatement. Enough! I'm canceling this policy that has been so lucrative for Healthy Paws, but which they cannot service with even minimal customer service.
