Last year I had to give my beloved…
Last year I had to give my beloved Roscoe to the angels to take over the rainbow bridge. 💔💔. It was just out of the blue and I didn't have the ability to save his life. NEVER AGAIN!!! After loosing my gentile giant-he could have possibly been saved with some very expensive medical procedures- I was devastated and swore off animals. Well-needless to say-It didn’t last long. We ended up adopting 2-(YES 2!!!!!!) puppies. During the adoption process I decided to get “PET INSURANCE” for them. If I had had insurance for Roscoe he could have been saved.
And it’s a good thing I did!! Within 3 weeks of having the little boogers they decided to go “counter surfing” where they proceeded to eat a bottle of prescription ibuprofen. I rushed them to the vet (SHOUT OUT TO NW INDIANA EMERGENCY VET HOSPITAL) where they had to stay for 5 days. Stomachs pumped-induced vomiting-and kidney flush IVs-among other things. The total bill came out to just shy of $10,000.00. Yes I said
10 THOUSAND dollars!! In the end-my pups are perfectly fine and the TOTAL that I had to pay of the vet bill was $1,200.00!!! If it weren’t for TRUPANION I would have lost my pups too. TRUPANION is a #TRU MIRACLE!!
