Disappointed in the service provided.
Disappointed in the service provided. They did not fully explain the payment plan and how it would change my ability to report past medical costs with a now much higher deductible and I was no longer able to lower it back as soon as she changed it. It also makes no sense to charge me for the previous month at the end of the month when the cost is the same every month and I thought I would have the ability until the next pay date (4/16) to get money back for things I've paid for in the past at the lower deductible rate Since I've been paying a lot of money each month for a long time to be at that lower deductible rate and this was very poor customer service. I'm thinking about switching to a different pet insurance company because of that phone call. She honestly did not seem to understand my questions nor did she acknowledge my clear frustration when I said that I would obviously have wanted to report my past medical costs at the lower deductible rate. I'm not an insurnace expert but she made me feel even more incompetent when she essentially tricked me into signing up for a higher deductible before I could get money back at the lower deductible rate which i have paid for many months and always on time. What a way to treat a loyal customer. I have paid over $600 for a service I was not even able to use and I feel like I was tricked into agreeing to pay less monthly and no longer being able to use the lower rate I had thought i would still be able to use for my past bills.
