My Precious Sasha Loved Living
My Sasha was my baby. I brought her home the end of June, 2008, as a 6-8 week old rescue puppy. She passed away on March 4, 2023 around 12:10am. If it were not for Trupanion I would have lost my Sasha more than 3 years ago. Trupanion made it possible for me to treat Sasha through 2 bouts of cancer (radiation, chemo therapy and a right front leg amputation), kidney disease and prior to this bilateral hind leg ACL and meniscus surgeries. I never had a problem with any claim and Sasha was able to pass away in my bed, having lived the fullest life she could bringing love and joy to everyone around her. Sasha had 8 neighbors visit her on her last day outside because they knew it was most likely the last time they would be able to see and spend time with her. Sasha laid in her wagon on a beautiful sunny 65° winter day for almost 4 hours surrounded by people petting and loving her. I only moved where I currently live 3 years ago. If it had not been for Trupanion, none of those people would have gotten to know Sasha and been so encouraged and touched by the fight to live they saw in her. Sasha loved people, especially children, and Sasha loved living. Because of Trupanion, Sasha was able to live until her body couldn't anymore. I couldn't be more grateful to God for impressing on my heart to get Sasha Insurance and my Aunt Leslie, who works for a Veterinarian and recommended Trupanion. Thank you Trupanion for allowing me to have my Sasha for as long as I did. I was truly Blessed to have her.
