Preventative Premium more than vet visit, Claims are processed poorly please read.
Cost me more to pay for the Preventative plan than I am reimbursed and the claims aren't even processed correctly. Math should be a requirement when doing this job. One of my pet's went in for Routine shots, we found out he had a fever so the doctor would not do it. I sent the claim in (for exam and antibiotics) and they took almost 2 weeks to verify that he was not a patient at my other animals vets even though I clearly stated it , they were scouting for pre-existing conditions for a fever? Clearly the claims are processed by AI first and when I called and talked to a human I got the run around and nothing but “canned” customer service responses. I have been nothing but aggravated when filing routine exam claims for my 4 pets. God forbid if a real illness or accident occurs. Do the math do not bother with the preventative, the cost these days doesn’t pan out you give them money and you give the vet, you will always end up in the red.
