Get Spot Insurance!

I was initially wary of pet insurance because I just wasn’t sure how difficult that agents would be with issuing reimbursements. But after biting the bullet, I went with Spot after reading rave reviews. Well I’m here adding another rave review because they’ve earned it. I had no problems getting reimbursed for my dog’s dental, illness visit, and pet ER claims. So long as you provide the necessary documentation, you are fine. When you are especially dealing with a scary, stressful incident with your fur baby, the last thing you need is a headache dealing with insurance. This scary incident happened just recently and is actually still in process. But Spot reimbursed me with no issues, and I got the payment within a week. I’m so thankful to Spot and I highly recommend this insurance!

It’s been super easy to file my claims

It’s been super easy to file my claims. My dog is recovering from surgery and so far everything has been covered including her physical therapy and adjustments. I highly recommend Spot!!

Easy Process

Vet fees are the last thing you want to worry about when your pet is sick. Spot has made it easy to submit claims, and reimbursement is timely. Our family is grateful that we had Spot when our dog was sick. He’s well again and a happy pup!

Knox's Surgery

My little pup Knox recently hurt his knee. We had taken out Spot pet insurance on him as a puppy so we filed the claim first for the visit to the orthopedic doctor to get it checked and that visit was applied to our deductible. The advice of the orthopedic doctor was for surgery so a time was planed the surgery was done on a Monday filed the claim on Thursday with all information required and claim was paid on following Tuesday. Payment was direct deposit to our bank account. I would highly recommend Spot insurance, claim was easy to fill out and Payment was fast and accurate. Thank you Spot insurance for making this process fast and easy so I could take care of my fur baby.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). plan costs vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750 or $1000 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. Spot Pet Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee.
