Don't believe the 2-4 day reimbursement website claims
My puppy had to be hospitalized for an unknown illness. Spent an entire week and thousands of dollars, with the peace of mind that I had coverage from Spot and I'd be reimbursed within 2-4 days, according to their website.
Cut to 4 weeks later, and they can't tell me what's missing, what the status is, or if I'll ever see the $6,000+ dollar reimbursement one page of my account says I've already been reimbursed (spoiler alert: I haven't received any of that, at all). I've reached out to them multiple times for clarification, but they don't seem interested in actually solving the problems, just in ushering folks off the line.
Thankfully, my puppy is ok, but I can help but think about if it hadn't turned out well, if I'd be fighting with them to get them to honor the coverage I pay for, while also grieving the loss of a pet. Can't in good conscience recommend this. Buyer beware.
