I am writing to express my concerns and seek assistance regarding the recent pending cancellation of my auto insurance policy due to non-payment, which was a result of several misunderstandings.
I acknowledge that I missed two payments. However, this was due to a misunderstanding on my part. I promptly made each payment as soon as I realized the oversight. Unfortunately, I did not receive any warning or reminder indicating that another missed payment would result in the cancellation of my policy. Instead, I received an email stating that my next due payment date had been adjusted and carried forward to the subsequent due dates, which led me to believe that I was given additional time to settle the bills. The due date mentioned was August 30.
On August 29, I logged into my account intending to pay the combined bill, only to be surprised by a notification indicating that my insurance was scheduled for cancellation on September 20, with no option available to make the payment. After contacting a customer service agent, I was informed that reinstating my insurance was not possible, which was extremely disheartening.
Today, I received three registered letters from my condo security, which included notices regarding my missed payments and another cancellation notice. This has been a frustrating situation for me, as the lack of communication and subsequent misunderstandings have led to this point.
I am earnestly requesting a reconsideration for my insurance to be reinstated. I am willing to make any necessary payments immediately. I truly value the service Sonnet Auto Insurance provides and hope to resolve this issue amicably. my policy#502035048

After over 5 years of being a customer, with all my properties insured via Sonnet, I sold and closed all my accounts with them.
The withdrawal account was a business account and was closed when the business closed. Sonnet attentped a withdrawal, which was returned. I emailed (because you certainly can't call them successfully) them to change account information or pay by credit card.
Email was not returned and today my account has been assigned to a collection agency. Don't do business with this company, their policies and procedures are flawed and the customer service people are rude and abrupt, and refused to take a payment after I discussed my concerns of their process and timelines for collection action.
