Unexpected tooth need pulled which as usual comes at a bad time of year ( never a good time anyway) and costly. Pumpkin paid within days of sending claim. We knew the evening of filing claim what was going to be paid.

Our situation was urgent at about 10:00…
Our situation was urgent at about 10:00 at night. Our little 18 lb Skipper was throwing up suddenly first his earlier dinner and then water. All the people at VEG were all very kind and concerned. They ran many tests to rule out possible issues. We were there until about 3 am. Skipper was in pain from throwing up and was given pain meds. In the end it was a gastritis event. We are very thankful for care and knowing we had insurance in place to help us. We submitted the claim and it was processed immediately.

Hassle Free Pumpkin Pet Insurance
I have used other pet insurance in the past and none of them are as professional, helpful and prompt as Pumpkin. All of my interactions with the company have been a positive experience.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
