It only took 2 days while the other took 6 weeks!
Value based on pets age which is a plus. Easy to submit claim. Much quicker in receiving funds back than the other leading pet insurance company.

This has to be the best insurance for pets!
They are fast in handling claims and professional at what they do for you and your fur baby 🙂
I looked at many other insurance companies for pets and Pumpkin offered the most coverage (90%) for a much more reasonable rate.
Don’t look any further, pick PUMPKIN! You will not regret your decision. I know I haven’t.

After lots of research I decided to purchase Pumpkin Pet Insurance for my new puppy…
So far I've had a great experience. I've submitted 2 preventative claims which were processed and paid out to me very quickly. They also do cover your puppies first vet visit even if the visit was prior to you purchasing the coverage just as Pumpkin advertises. I'm very happy with my decision.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
