My 1 year old Great Dane tore his ACL…

My 1 year old Great Dane tore his ACL last summer. I placed a call into Pumpkin and spoke with a very nice lady that was very empathetic and talked to me about Zeus, as I was pretty upset about him being so young and have an injury like this. She explained the process and before hanging up she said she was sending good vibes for Zeus and his surgery and healing. The end results were so easy and fast. I can't thank you guys enough and I'm so glad we chose Pumpkin Insurance.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
