Our German Sheperd was scratching all…

Our German Sheperd was scratching all the time so we took him to the vet and used our Pumpkin insurance and within in a few weeks we were reimbursed for the Vet visit less the deductible. We are very pleased with Pumpkin

I love our Pumpkin Insurance

I love our Pumpkin Insurance! You have very kind & helpful employees. And claims are processed fairly quickly. I do wish though that claim explanation of benefits that I receive with the payment were marked better with the date of service, being paid for. It is difficult for me when Belle receives the same service for several months to understand which is being paid.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
