Very fast payment on claims. I’ve submitted two claims since getting pumpkin insurance and can’t believe how fast they pay out. Great customer service too.

Prompt reimbursement professional agents

We have had Pumpkin insurance about 4 years now and they continue to be the best investment in our dog’s life. The claims process is quite simple. If you’re looking for hassle free insurance, I would recommend Pumpkin.

This is the first pet insurance that actually care and stand by their promise to reimburse for services they say they will!! I have had others with previous dogs but Pumpkin is by far the BEST!

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
