Person I contacted for assistance in accessing filling out insurance forms on line sent me link witch worked well. insurance payment was prompt. was a relief to have assistance in my dogs surgical bills after he ate turkey bones a neighbor had thrown out.

I can't say enough about pumpkin
I can't say enough about pumpkin. I will never forget how kind and sensitive they were when our doberman passed away. They made the exit process so easy and they sent their condolences.
When we got our new pup, they honored our doberman and welcomed our new pup.

The personalized customer experience is phenomenal...highly recommend
The personalized customer experience with this company is stellar. My sweet pup was diagnosed with Addison's disease after a lengthy (and expensive) sickness. Pumpkin was so quick in processing claims and depositing funds that I was able to keep paying for vet services throughout the illness. Then when he swallowed a cat toy, the rep I spoke with told me exactly what was needed to complete the claim and offered to reach out to the emergency clinic to request it. She followed up with me with a phone call and an email and was very kind in a stressful situation. Every rep I've talked to has been so nice and extremely helpful. I would recommend Pumpkin over and over.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
