I'm so thankful for this pet insurance!

I'm so thankful for this pet insurance. My cat Max has been a healthy cat and now with age, he's had some issues that have cost us a lot of money, but Pumpkin has been there for us throughout the experience and has paid all the medical bills for Max. I recommend them and you won't be sorry.

Unreasonable premium hike

Your service is first rate, however a 25% premium increase in just one year seems rather excessive and may force me to shop around, even though your service is good.

We love Pumpkin

We love Pumpkin! They have taken could care of us and our pup. We have a rescue Malinois, she is not the smartest, for her breed, but she is the sweetest. She has gotten herself into some not so good situations and we’ve had to take her to the regular vet and the ER vet. Pumpkin has always come through for us. I would recommend Pumpkin to anyone.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
