Reliable and fair pet insurance
I’ve had my two cats insured with you for a while now, and I’ve been very happy with the service. The reimbursement process has been fair and straightforward. I also appreciate that annual price increases have been reasonable so far, which is a big reason I’ve continued to stay with your company rather than looking at other options.
Because of my positive experience, I have already recommended this insurance to other pet owners and will continue to do so. As long as you keep providing fair pricing and reliable coverage, I plan to remain a loyal customer.

Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
