Pumpkin is the best!

So happy to have Pumpkin for insurance. They are a life saver. My dog ate a rock and surgery was over 8k. Thank goodness for Pumpkin. I only paid co-pay and percentage. Getting reimbursed was fast, directly deposited to my bank within 5 days with no questions asked. Uploading my documents to Pumpkin was fast and easy, and you get an email when they are received and reviewed. We couldn’t be happier with our insurance choice for our 3 dogs. Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
