Excellent Pet Insurance!
I couldn’t be more blessed than to have a company like Pumpkin, insuring our wonderful little dog, Luna! The coverage options they offer, and the affordable monthly premiums are fantastic! You have the freedom to take your pet wherever they need to go to get the best care possible. I’ve never had an issue filing a claim, and they really do care about the health of my pet! I highly recommend them.

Quick claims
It was as very easy to enroll and the policy is clear on what it covers. We also picked up the essentials coverage, and have already used it. I was very surprised at how quick the claims were processed. We have only had Pumpkin for a week and have used it twice. Both claims were processed in two days!

Amazing
Amazing! I love this pet insurance. Also the customer service is amazing! Any questions or emails you may and they respond very quickly!! I reached out the their customer service with questions before getting my cat on insurance and they were willing to help me. I will definitely be using their insurance in the future!!!
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
