They let you concentrate on what matters
I am so grateful I had Pumpkin Pet Insurance when my dog needed X-rays. The vet bill was much higher than I expected, but having my pet insurance took all the financial stress away.
The process was incredibly smooth. The vet's office handled submitting the claim for me, and before I knew it, the reimbursement was deposited directly into my checking account. The speed of the payment was a huge relief.
This positive experience meant I could focus entirely on my dog's recovery without worrying about how I was going to pay the bill. I highly recommend them to any pet owner!

Easy process for reimbursement
Luna broke her canin teeth after joining Pumpkin three months. The reimbursement process was pretty straightforward and quick. I just need to upload medical records and receipts. After couple weeks the case was approved and the reimbursement was deposited into my account. I also made a few calls during the process, all the representatives were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
