Best pet insurance ever
When I called to get, I don’t know if it’s called preapproval but the equivalent of preapproval for my dog surgery I was told yes absolutely it would be covered submitting the claim was so easy and I received reimbursement of 90% within 3 to 7 business days no questions asked no delays.

Claims are easy to file & are quickly decided. An Explanation of Benefits explains what was approved or disapproved & why. The staff is always friendly & helpful.

Pumpkin is tops in my book
Getting pet insurance was the best decision of my life, and Pumpkin has been phenomenal! The reps are all so helpful and kind and the claims process is super easy. I have it set up to get reimbursements deposited directly into my account and their turn around time is quick. So grateful Pumpkin
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
