Finally, Got Pet Coverage

So far, so good. I communicated with several people at Prudent Pet, but Pati was the one who first reached out to help me. Then she left me alone with the knowledge that if I needed her, she would definitely be able to assist me. She always answered my questions quickly, professionally and with advice that helped me to finally get this done! Wish I had done it sooner. Thank you Pati and Prudent Pet! The rep was very informative she…

The rep was very informative she help.me to understand the coverage and was efficient she got back to me wit the policy information quickly. My pets are covered and feel better about it. I recently lost my buddy a cocker spaniel he was 14yrs n was very sick wit kidney failure he was not covered n it was costly till the end. I want to thank the rep for all her help

Monthly Cost

Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.

Coverage

We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.

Payout Limits

We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan.  There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.

Deductible

Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.

Age Limits

We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies. Optional Wellness Details We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount. *Correct Jan. 2019
