I was very skeptical of purchasing pet…

I was very skeptical of purchasing pet insurance. After incurring some very hefty vet bills with our previous dog, I decided to buy policies for our new puppies. Our Doby has had two incidents where he needed emergency services and surgeries. Prudunt Pet was easy to send in claims and very responsive once they received them. Both claims were paid quickly. I will never go without pet insurance again!

The individual person to person customer service. phone…

The individual person to person phone conversation with the representatives two separate times. First time I did not realize I had given a credit card number of a close account and they reached out to before canceling the plan to try to correct it which was greatly appreciated. Then While correcting it with a new credit card number, the representative was very helpful in letting me make a new adjustment to add more extensive. Well, health care plan to my monthly fees for an increase in coverage. While the whole time being very helpful in answering questions about about having pet insurance.

Monthly Cost

Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.

Coverage

We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.

Payout Limits

We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan.  There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.

Deductible

Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.

Age Limits

We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies. Optional Wellness Details We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount. *Correct Jan. 2019
