Great customer service

My experience with customer service was prompt and my problem was resolved efficiently. It is so rare to immediately speak to a person -- especially after hours on a weekend! Representative Peter helped me change an error I made with an online policy quote and purchase. He quickly canceled the policy and helped me secure the correct policy. He was helpful, personable, and made sure to give me all my options. I already feel assured that we chose the right pet insurance carrier for our newly adopted girl.

I was able to speak to Andrea

I was able to speak to Andrea. She was wonderful. Very polite, very pleasant and very helpful. At the beginning of the phone call I ended up having to call her back and I almost forgot about her but I remembered. Called her and she was as pleasant as she was in the beginning. She deserves a raise. She is a most pleasant person I've ever talked to anywhere that I have called for anything. Sincerely Mary Jacobs

Monthly Cost

Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.

Coverage

We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.

Payout Limits

We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan.  There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.

Deductible

Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.

Age Limits

We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies. Optional Wellness Details We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount. *Correct Jan. 2019
