Customer service was amazing
Customer service was amazing, the person that helped me over the phone was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with ease and was very good with following up with me. It took three times of rescheduling until I finally was able to go over a plan with her and sign up my two cats. I am a super busy person, but she didn't give up 🙂 I look forward to working with this company it is very reasonable compared to other companies and seems to cover more in certain areas.

Pet Insurance at an Appropriate Premium
We added a puppy to our family & I wanted her to have insurance protection like the rest of my family. I wanted to make sure if she ever got sick or had an accident, we could concentrate on her medical care instead of struggling with unexpected bills. I chose Prudent Pet Insurance for their customizable plan’s & appropriate premium’s. I now have peace of mind knowing everyone in my home has protection.

I just bought this plan
I just bought this plan. So far no problems. The only thing was after I applied the info said I would get an email for me to set up my password, I didn’t get one so I called and they told me what to do. Everything ok now.
Monthly Cost
Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.
Coverage
We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.
Payout Limits
We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan. There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.
Deductible
Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.
Age Limits
We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies.
Optional Wellness Details
We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount.
